vigilance and advocacy through a global effort of NGOs, journalists,

environmental, human rights and other abuses, and to provide critical
information to foster a more informed public and an effective

Non-profit investigative research and journalism to expose corporate
malfeasance and to advocate for multinational corporate accountability

An evolving compendium of critical research, posted to the public
domain as an aid to anyone working to hold corporations increasingly
accountable. Crocodyl enables disparate groups and individuals to pool
our knowledge about specific corporations in order to reduce the high

CROCTAIL
A web-based interface for browsing information parsed from U.S.
Securities & Exchange Commission filings on several hundred
thousand corporations that are publicly traded in the U.S. and their
many domestic and foreign subsidiaries. croctail.corpwatch.org
CORPWATCH
OPEN API
The Corpwatch API uses automated parsers to extract the subsidiary
relationship information from Exhibit 21 of companies' 10-K filings
with the SEC and provides a free, well-structured interface for
programs to query and process the data. api.corpwatch.org

PROFITEERS
A special section of CorpWatch.org, dedicated to original investigative
research and reporting, as well as mainstream news archives, on
companies profiting from war and disaster, including the use of private
security firms by multinational corporations in their more

Our newest production, this database profiles the major
actors in intelligence contracting. Drawing from research for his book
"Spies for Hire: The Secret World of Intelligence Outsourcing" (Simon
& Schuster 2008), investigative reporter Tim Shorrock lifts the
veil off a major story the government doesn't want us to know about -
the massive outsourcing of top secret intelligence activities to

In Eastern India's Jharkand State, tensions are mounting
between indigenous tribal communities and the Uranium Corporation of
India Limited, or UCIL. Heavy security at a May public hearing on
